Business unit overview:
Within the Corporate Division, the Multinational Clients Department is dedicated to serve the largest international corporations in Hungary by providing a wide range of commercial banking products (i.e. cash management, investment/working capital financing, leasing, factoring, treasury, trade finance, etc.), including tailor-made solutions and complex structured finance transactions. The front office team is composed of highly experienced Senior Relationship Managers who manage a portfolio of international corporate clients and represent the key point of contact to them. The work of the Relationship Managers is supported by Assistants/Junior Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, Mid Officers and Product Specialists to provide high quality service to the clientele, facilitating sales activity and the origination of new transactions.
Main activities:
- Performing fundamental research and financial analyses of corporate clients:
- Reclassification of historical financial statements.
- Assignment of credit ratings to obligors.
- Assessment of the collateral structure of specific transactions.
- Peer competitors and industrial analyses.
- Evaluation of counterparty credit quality by identifying risks and making recommendations for their mitigation.
- Financials’ projections.
- Contributing to the preparation of credit proposals to be submitted to the decision-making bodies of the Bank.
- Monitoring the Bank's existing credit exposure periodically, performing annual reviews.
Required qualifications, skills and competencies:
- University degree in Economics/Finance.
- 2-5 years corporate analysis experience and understanding of banking products (preferred). Alternatively, previous experience in financial advisory, accounting or audit professional services is considered an asset.
- Solid numerical and analytical skills.
- Fluency in Hungarian and English languages (as business is primarily conducted in English, verbal and written fluency in English is essential).
- Ability to work in a team.
